A family affair that felt like a warm hug.

it took a move across the country and a dating app to bring these together. sweet pauline is what they call her. and chris couldn’t believe his good fortune of finding her in a place that was completely new to him. ⁠

chris + pauline. they emailed us at the beginning of the year with no set date or a venue. what they did know was that they wanted it to be a family affair. so when chris’s old fraternity little brother offered up the idea of using his restaurant craft house in dana point as the place for them to get married, they ran with it and made it feel like a warm hug. friends from high school and college came, family from france, from florida, to his old hometown of orange county. at the end of dinner they toasted with the same glass pauline’s grandparents used on their wedding day and we couldn’t think of a sweeter way to seal the evening. ⁠
