Apartment At Home Session

A session in their apartment before buying a house and starting a family.

They had a courthouse wedding a few years ago and didn’t invest in photography then. But now it was time for some photos for them to have to look back on. After much discussion figuring out where would be best to have their session at, that really fit who they were, it made so much sense doing it in their apartment. The first apartment they had together that felt like them, so many memories walking around the neighborhood, including the one wedding photo they took in front of the fountain.

We knew they wouldn’t regret having their session in their apartment. Regardless of how “minimal” it was, which Sherilyn expressed concern about. But we don’t focus on that. It’s about you two. The story of who you were when these photos were made, the memories to look back on. They shared with us that they plan on moving and buying a house soon, and hopefully starting a family. What better reason to remember when it was just you two.
