One evening Heidi slid into our dms casually asking us if we were available for a Friday wedding. In three weeks. Quick back story, some days Heidi is a wedding coordinator and we've tried working together before but for one reason or another it never worked out. So we were excited to hear from her but also cautious — like who is this couple? Did the original photographer leave them hanging? Do they even like our stuff and really want to work with us or were they just wanting anyone at the last hour? ⁠⁠

Heidi proceeded to tell us "a little about Ryan and I". How they met and fell in love on the spot, how they started with a long distance relationship...(a lot of personal stuff)...and how they had been planning a big wedding back home in the east coast on New Year's Eve — but then their venue cancelled. They were ready to officially celebrate their union so they called all local venues to see what was available. Nothing. Until a cancellation happened at The Bel Air Bay Club. That was three weeks away. ⁠⁠
