Bella Rose Lynchburg Wedding

Hours before the wedding rehearsal and dinner, we were in the kitchen alongside Gress’s dad and childhood friend, boiling water and cooking pasta. Grandparents and aunts who just got there looked at us wondering who we were. Once they found out we were the photographers they joked and asked if this was a full service kind of thing that we offered – cooking and taking photos.

Honestly it’s just the way we like it. For every wedding we work to be more than “just” the photographers. We’re your fifth/sixth bridesmaid, we’re your kooky relative that’s everywhere you turn.

Connection plays a major role in how we photograph. And the best part about traveling for weddings, is being able to fully immerse ourselves in the experience. We’re not only connecting with you more, we’re there meeting everyone a day or two before the wedding and we become part of it all.

We get to know who your best friend is, who your crazy fun cousin is, which one of your friends you’ve known since diapers. Getting to know you better allows us to photograph your story better. For Gress+Paige‘s wedding, we traveled together with Gress’s family to Lynchburg. We drove with Granny to the airport. We stayed in the same house as the family and the groomsmen. After the wedding we stayed up late talking with Gress’s parents and sister. Needless to stay we heard a lot of stories, got to know them better through the people that love them and have known them for years. Considering us, your photographers, as more than a vendor is always our goal and it makes all the difference.
