Adam + Diana
Wedding at Houdini Estate
Cuban Flavor Meets Old Hollywood. THis one is juicy with details.
There are some couples that we meet who we are instantly enamored with. Enter Adam and Diana. They’re like the epitome of fun wrapped up in quirky with a chill cool vibe. None of that makes sense but that’s how much of a unicorn these two are. Then you hear them talk about how they met and describe how they feel about one another and suddenly you’re in a puddle of goo. When we first started talking to these two about their wedding at Houdini Estate there was never any question we wanted part of it or that it would be the most epic celebration.
We should have questioned however if there would be rain in late September in Los Angeles.
Answer: yes, yes that is a definite possibility.
The best part about this wedding was that at the end of the day, after much stress about the rain, last minute changes and so much happening behind the scenes, it was these two that mattered. Their love and their unity. That’s the most important thing.
Now buckle up. Because ooooh-weee. Adam+Diana along with one of our favorites, Emilee of Tasteful Tatters, planned a wedding at the Houdini Estate full of Cuban flavor with that Old Hollywood vibe. They are both creatives, with Adam being an illustrator he created the sweetest comic booklet for all their guests that was full of his own drawings about love stories while Diana designed all the signs for their wedding (which you’ll see more of below). From luggage tag escort cards, a Cuban cigar rolling station and a budtender station (because hey it’s legal in California!), to fans from Spain instead of bouquets, not one single detail was missed.
The night ended with more photos of them at Carneys, where they ordered burgers and drinks, and got to take a minute together before the after party. The day was done, it was a long one and they were finally married, the rain was behind them and we’re just so honored that they we were part of this. It was the perfect ending. Well, then they jumped into the pool. That was the perfect ending.
To hear more personal details from the couple themselves, this wedding is also featured on Junebug Weddings which you can see HERE.
