Bourbon Room Hollywood Wedding
when two musicians get married you get a very soul, rock 'n roll vibe with some New Orleans flare
When Ari + Sarah first emailed us they had a completely different venue booked but the same music filled wedding idea. When the original venue fell through they scrambled to find a new one and ended up with a place that really represented who they are. They ended up only having one month to get everything together but it all worked out.
Ari + Sarah are both creatives and musicians. Ari is literally Sarah's biggest fan. Before they started dated he listened and loved her music. These two have the biggest crushes on each other and we could not stop smiling around them.
The Bourbon Room
The place they found was The Bourbon Room in Hollywood. They normally host live music or comedy events but it was perfect for Ari + Sarah. The Bourbon Room isn't your typical wedding venue but it fit their style perfectly and isn't that what it's all about really. The stage was set for their ceremony, and later the live band during the reception. There's even a lounge room with pianos, that of course Ari played on before his first look with Sarah, zebra carpet (!!!), and a chartreuse leather sofa.
Photographer stand point we relied on our flash 99% of the time but in the end it really lent to the overall vibe of the day.
Rock 'n Roll Vibe
They originally planned to have a walk down the street with a New Orleans band and their guests following along but with the new location of Bourbon Room they had to rearrange. So instead Ari walked along Hollywood Blvd (with live video streaming inside) and into the ceremony with the band playing, it made for quite the boisterous fun entrance.
This was a music heavy, heart filled wedding and it was a blast to be part of it.
