Our friends made a baby. But these aren’t just regular friends, they’re cool friends.

When Molly first told us she wanted to do photos with us we were stoked and honored which then quickly turned into nerves. Look there’s always the pressure we put on ourselves when we’re hired as photographers, it’s natural, we want to do a good job. But when friends who we’ve known for years now, who we know what their expectations are, ask us to photograph them for the first time, you better believe the butterflies are going to come out flying.

So when she sent inspiration photos of the dress she was looking for, we knew we couldn’t just do any regular ol’ maternity session. We needed to reach their level.

We have been wanting to do a studio session for awhile now but it needed to be the right fit, the right vibe and well, it all came together for this session.

We’re hooked. Like, sign us up for the next studio couples / engagement / anniversary / maternity session already.

We love these two.

We’ve seen them at their highs and lows and all the different cars Nate goes through. Seeing them at this point in their marriage is something else. The happiness and love are real. We can’t think of another time when we’ve seen them so calm, so at peace, like you know and they know they are exactly where they are meant to be. Soon to be parents to a baby boy.
