Joshua Tree Rock Climbing Engagement Session

These two met at a climbing gym. He approached her by helping her out on a bouldering problem she was having (smooooth). Once he found out she was a nurse and she learned he was trying to get into nursing school, it was like —
<insert the sound of cupid’s bow>
Throughout the years they continued to grow their love for adventures alongside one another, cheering each other on in their career moves and climbing EV.ER.Y.WHERE. Literally. They met climbing and they got engaged after hours of hiking through the snow, Adam got down on his knee at the top of a mountain.
Adam and Grace aren’t just cute together. You can feel the foundation that they’ve built together is strong. The ease in how they were there for each other was so comforting. But also, they’ll be down to race each other at the drop of a hat.
When they chose to do their session at Joshua Tree, we were instantly in ofc.
Then when Grace mentioned they wanted to do some photos of them rock climbing and playing, we were like duh we love it.
Then we couldn’t get them to stop.
And we loved every second of it.
This was such a fun session.
This obviously isn’t Grace’s typical rock climbing attire but we all agreed those pants, blowing aesthetically in the breeze, should be.
After they put away their climbing gear,
they just wanted to keep climbing! We loved their playful hearts.
Dancing in the desert.
Besides adventuring together, they also took salsa lessons a few years ago. They started to practice again to do a dance for their wedding so they showed us a few of their dance moves as the sun lazily lowered behind the mountain range.
