The sound of waves crashing were the background music. As the salty breeze carried their vows across the ocean and into the world.

It was us, her parents, a close family friend as the officiant, and them. As everyone else, from Orange County to LA to New York, sat in the comfort of their homes watching on their screen as Jared and Teiko got married.

Later as the sun melted into the horizon becoming one with the ocean, the surprise joy that spread across their faces when the water hit their feet and wet their legs was a parting reminder of what a day.
