Surf Lovers at the Beach
they got engaged after their morning surf. and wanted their engagement photos at one of their favorite surfing spots.
They took us to one of their favorite surfing spots. Seeing it in the daylight for the first time, this was different from their usual 5am dark mornings, straight-into-the-water and paddle out routines. We ventured out to areas they’d never even paid attention to. Looked out onto the water when sets came in (surf talk? who knows), spotted dolphins and divers, witnessed a music video in the making, and let the sun set wash over us.
Two days before this session they celebrated their 4 year anniversary.
Experiencing their love in front of our eyes, we let them mostly be. Taking each other in, passionately, beautifully, rhythmically in sync. Like waves coming together.
