Anza Borrego | Slot Canyon | Clark Dry Lake

We had never been to Anza Borrego.
They were visiting from Canada and had never been either.
But this place was on both our lists to visit so it was agreed: let’s meet at Anza Borrego.
Once there we hopped into the same car and drove to the Slot Canyon and Clark Dry Lake and looked for the super blooms.

That’s the abbreviated version. Because really this was a day spent adventuring with two people we had never met before. We literally had no agenda on this day. Except to take photos and explore a new place we had never been to. Majority of the time we were driving, we had no idea where we were going. We taught them about palm trees (you had to be there), scurried from suspicious campers, ran around in circles, rolled around in dirt and laughed a whole lot.

Exploring new places with strangers turned new friends. That’s what we like.
