A Kim Sing Theatre Wedding

The one where they married on Twosday 2.22.22 and had Netflix Bake Squad show up to film an episode

Good things come to those who wait. That's what Alex + Ahren had to do. They met in high school, dated, and broke up after she went away for college. They never talked after that, but Alex's mom always asked about her. Years passed and when the pandemic happened, they reconnected.

We've known Ahren for years now. Always giving out so much love to her friends and family, we just knew it'd take an extra special person to receive her love. When we finally met Alex we saw how much he balanced her big energy and made her big smile even bigger.

They decided to get married on Twosday at Kim Sing Theatre in Los Angeles and kept it small. They intentionally chose vendors who were of color and/or a minority (Joe is half Mexican while Kathrina is Filipino, Spanish, and Chinese) and even though we call Ahren friend, we were still so honored they handpicked us and to be part of this group.

A few days before her wedding we found out that they were chosen to be part of the Netflix show Bake Squad season 2 and we were floored. They were there all day filming behind the scenes footage and the reveal of the desert. You'll see some photos of the camera crew and production (who were all amazingly nice) in between.

Although there were blue skies, rain threatened to crash the wedding but decided to stay back. It was a beautiful chilly day celebrating these two.
